Dragon's Art Club had a little fun making sculptures with food.
DRAGON'S ART CLUB, "Time Moo-chine to a Greener Future," FALL 2016
The KES Dragon’s Art Club entered the Fall 2016 Made By Milk carton construction contest. The theme for the contest was to build a great invention. Eight hundred ninety nine milk cartons later…..”Time Moo-chine to a Greener Future” was complete! I am very proud of them for working so well together to complete this 6 foot sculpture. Please take a moment to check out their creation, and even take a selfie in another time dimension!
About the artwork: KES Dragon’s Art Club brainstormed and sketched many ideas, then voted unanimously to build a time machine. Excited about making something big enough to go inside, students dreamed up ways to interact with their creation. They painted pictures of different time periods and places, including all the way back to the moment the universe was formed, and hung them inside so that you can make a time travel selfie. They added a screen and touch control panel. The sculpture is made with 899 milk cartons, glue, tape, paper, cardboard, paint, and plastic soda caps.
