Eileen, Dr. Mays' class
Students in Dr. Mays' class made a landscape collage. They began with a blank paper with a line of yarn across it. They tore and placed blue paper for the sky above the line and green paper below for the ground. They then stamped the sun in the sky and made heart shaped flowers on the ground. Eileen did a good job filling up her landscape. Arelis L., 1st grade
Congratulations to Arelis! Her artwork was selected to represent KES in the Peds Painters exhibit at Athens Regional. Her artwork will be on display from February through April in the Pediatric Unit alongside many other great works of art by children from our region. Jackie S., 4th grade
Students in 4th are studying color. For a bit of creative fun with the color wheel, they were challenged to turn it into an object in a picture. Jackie decided to make her color wheel into a colorful asteroid flying through space. |
